Proceedings

The proceedings for XRM2010 are available online at aip.org.

We invite all participants of the XRM2010 conference (both oral and poster contributions) to submit manuscripts for publication in the XRM2010 conference proceedings.  After a review process, the proceedings will be published as an American Institute of Physics (AIP) conference proceedings.  Access to the proceedings will be freely available via the internet. Compact disc copies of the conference proceedings will be shipped to all participants who request one in their registration.

All papers must contain original results, i.e., the results presented have not been published elsewhere previously.  All manuscripts will undergo a refereed review prior to acceptance. Whether your presentation at the conference is a poster or a talk will not affect eligibility for publication in the proceedings.

Preparation of Manuscripts

AIP Author Instructions

The manuscripts must be prepared in full accordance with the author guidelines for publication with AIP, which can be found at http://proceedings.aip.org/authors/information_for_authors.  From this information page authors should select the 8.5 x 11 inch, single-column format; this is the format that will be used for the XRM2010 proceedings.  Authors can download pdf files of 1) the AIP instruction booklet, 2) a sample paper, and 3) Transfer of Copyright Agreement from this page.

XRM2010 manuscript length limits are six (6) journal pages for invited speakers and four (4) journal pages for regular (contributed oral and poster) participants.

Since the XRM2010 proceedings are only being published in electronic form, there are no charges for color figures and authors do not have to complete an AIP Letter of Commitment for printing color pages. However, if the author uses information that has been published previously, see AIP’s reprint permission information to determine whether or not reprint permission needs to be obtained.

Templates

In order to expedite processing of these proceedings, we will only accept papers that use one of the MS Word templates (either U.S. standard letter size or standard A4 size).  These templates are available from the 8.5 x 11 inch, single-column format page.  An AIP Users Guide for installing and using these templates can also be downloaded from this web page.
